Services

Working with artists and entrepreneurs is our specialty!

We have a unique process that enables us to learn about you and your project. We know that your effort is very personal to you and you want it to reflect your personality. We respect that and do everything in our power to bring your concept to life in just the way you imagine it in your mind’s eye.
When you decide to use our services; we’ll explain and show you our concept; estimate how long it will take; estimate the cost; arrange for pickup or delivery along with any other details. We’ll give you as much information as we’re able to empower you to make an informed decision with as few surprises as possible.
Our shop is fully equipped with woodworking and metal fabrication tools of all kinds. There’s very little we’re not prepared to handle when it comes to fabrication. We also have a state of the art electronics and computer lab.

Step 1 – Your concept Step 2 – Our estimate
We talk with you either in person or by phone in an effort to get a feel for your style and what your expectations may be. It doesn’t take long. In fact, if you can give us a drawing with dimensions of exactly what you want, we can jump straight to the estimate. Most people we’ve worked with are a bit more abstract though, so we have to bounce ideas off each other. This process allows us to achieve a finished concept that projects your style and comes in within your budget and timeline. This is free. We know your time is valuable and we respect that. As soon as we determine what we’re going to build for you, our crack logistics team will source and price the materials needed to complete your project. Then we’ll estimate the time it will take to build it and if we’ll have to secure any outside resources to complete the project. During this phase, we also provide renderings of the concept. These may be in the form of sketches, drawings or sometimes three-dimensional models. There may or may not be a fee associated with this, but we’ll let you know in advance.
Step 3 – The agreement Step 4 – The build
We provide a valuable and detailed service and we invest quite a bit of time and effort into what we do. We require a deposit to begin work on any project. Generally, the deposit is 50% of the estimated cost of the project. Then we’ll build it and you can pay the balance at the time of delivery. On larger projects that are labor intensive and take a long time, we may ask for progress payments when we reach certain pre-defined milestones. We know you don’t want any surprises so we’ll spell them out in advance. Government contracts are net 30. We are very proud of the work we do and are eager for you to see our progress. This is why we’ll send you progress updates unless you prefer we don’t. Since nearly everything we do is custom and made by hand, we consider it art. This also gives you the opportunity to let us know if you think we’ve taken a wrong turn with your project. It doesn’t happen often, but we feel it’s best you be kept in the loop as much as possible. If you want to learn something and help out at the same time, we’ve even been known to discount the project cost.
